BBS OCP Logo 300Dear Honorary Commander Alumnus,

We are looking for you!

I am proud to announce that the annual enrollment is now open for the 2024 Blue Blazer Squadron (BBS) class. The BBS is an “alumni association” managed under the direction of Fighter Country Foundation (FCF) is a tremendous opportunity to become involved with FCF as it continues its unprecedented support of the men, women, families, and mission of Luke AFB. Keep in mind this application is reserved for individuals who successfully completed their two-year term as Honorary Commander at Luke and is looking to stay involved and continue to support the mission.

BBS is comprised of a group of “active” former Honorary Commanders, who have lived the mission at Luke through their experience on base and now want to continue to exercise their support by becoming a part of a unique FCF program. “Blue Blazers” are ambassadors and the visible representation of FCF to the community. We also provide service in support of FCF activities and fundraisers as we support FCF’s Top Three programs of Morale & Well Being, Culture & Tradition, and Mission Sustainability, in its direct support effort to the base. Come be part of the Blue Blazers and have a great time with fellow Blazers as we support Luke Air Force Base.

Beginning with the induction ceremony in January and throughout the year, the Blue Blazer Squadron will be actively involved in a few “must-attend” critical events, along with other unique, significant, and supportive activities!

Below is the application that I encourage you to complete electronically by the deadline of 1 March 2024. Please do not hesitate to contact me at julie@calzaco.com  if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Julie Calza, Blue Blazer Chair

Chris Zilar, Blue Blazer Vice-Chair
