BENEFICIARIES: 100 Club of Arizona & Fighter Country Partnership

DESCRIPTION: Arizona law enforcement, firefighters, and military personnel (active and retired), family and supporters will be recreating the 110 flights of stairs (2071 steps) climbed by New York City Firefighters during the attacks on the World Trade Center. We will honor all those who gave their lives on that fateful day and all those who continue to serve our country, domestically and abroad. This year we anticipate more than 1000 individuals taking the challenge. Proceeds will benefit the 100 Club of Arizona (Provides support to the families of Police & Fire personnel seriously injured or killed in the line of duty, and Fighter Country Partnership.

Fry’s Food Stores is happy to announce another fun Courageous Hearts pin-up fundraising campaign, honoring our heroes. This campaign will take place January 29, 2017 and will run through February 26, 2017. Fighter Country Foundation once again has proudly been selected as one of the recipients to receive funding from this campaign in addition to USO AZ, AZ Heroes to Hometowns, and Packages from Home.

BBS Annual Meeting Courageous Hearts

1) Please visit your local Fry’s Food Store to buy a heart to help support our United States military personnel, retirees, veterans, and their families!

2) Purchase 20 (or more) hearts to show your support. Dedicate your Heart to someone in uniform – past or present – or to a military family!

3) Snap a selfie with you and the heart then email to: and share up on Facebook and Twitter #frysfoodstores #courageoushearts  Pssst..there may be an incentive to getting absolutely ridiculous with the number of hearts purchased and taken in a single photo with you and shared up with the aforementioned instructions…

Through the Send-A-Vet ticket donation program, you can help honor these local heroes and show appreciation for their time spent serving our country by sending them to the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl at Chase Field Dec. 27th, 2016.
