Every time a jet takes off, it’s powered by fuel. But where does that fuel come from and how does it make it into the jets? The POL flight is ready to respond around the clock in order to ensure each jet gets the fuel it needs. It all starts at the preventive refueling maintenance section where each of the 18 R-11 fuel trucks is inspected to ensure nothing malfunctions…

Nearly 100 family members whose loved ones are deployed had not one, but two wonderful nights out courtesy of Fighter Country Partnership. The Luke AFB Chapel hosts monthly “Deployed Families Dinner” at the Chapel typically with assistance from various other units.
When approached by FCP about partnering with the Chapel and having the dinner at an off-base location was an absolutely thrilling opportunity that could not be passed over. After a few planning meetings, the Chapel was fully engaged in the logistics and coordination to have family members out for a whole evening of fun and food.

FCP Annual Base Programs Each year, our valued members and corporate partners enable FCP to host many events designed to bring the community and the base closer together. The life of an Airmen and their family often rotates assignments every two years, so commonly a commander will change command of a squadron, group or wing level within 24 months. FCP supported events ease this transition by having many opportunities for social interaction between the community and the base.
